Hockey Puck Display Cases for Garage Sale Finds
A couple weeks ago I was browsing through a garage sale, and I ended up finding a bunch of really cool vintage pucks, that were near mint condition. I thought they would look great hanging on the wall in my finished basement, where most of my other hockey memorabilia is showcased. Sure, I had a puck case for most of my cherished pucks, but I thought I needed to "up the ante" a bit for these.
I got online in an attempt to snatch the most fitting puck display for my great new find. I needed a puck display case that could handle many pucks, not just a few. Preferably, I wanted a puck case that allowed me to fill it in with more pucks, as I added in the missing ones to my collection. Also, the type of frame that my case was going to have was a key factor, as well. I was looking for the all-natural elegance of wood, but was okay with plastic, as long as it looked classy. Most importantly though, I needed my hockey puck display case to be UV protective. I know, I know, there isn't much sunlight that gets to the basement, but you'd be surprised what that small amount can do to your hockey memorabilia over time. I didn't want to take my chances with these new pucks.
After some quick Google searches I came across the perfect puck display case that more than suited all of my needs for my awesome pucks. Not to mention the price was super reasonable, as well. I'm just glad these valuable pucks have a new home, and to think, I found them at a garage sale for a couple bucks. Who knew?

Remembering My College Hockey Days
So, after the initial nostalgia wore off, I began thinking of what I was going to do with the my college jersey, now that it had gotten a second life. I couldn't wear it. After briefly trying it on, I realized that it was a little small for me now, and plus I didn't want it to get anymore wear and tear than it already had. The easy thing to do would have been to hang it in the closet, but I had seen my share of moths flying around the house, and I figured that placing it on a hanger would just make the collar stretch out, even more than my neck did. I had hockey jersey display cases for some of my other valuable jerseys, so I wasn't sure why it took me so long to think of getting one for my college jersey. Sooner or later though, that idea popped into my head.
I ended up going with a really great hockey jersey case to commemorate my college days. It has a classy wood frame, it doesn't stretch out the neck hole, and it has hinges on the front of the display, so I can take the jersey out whenever I want - everything you'd expect from a great hockey jersey display case, and more. The hockey jersey display with my jersey in it looked so stunning, I had to hang it right in my living room, and believe it or not, it blended in beautifully.
That whole thing made me wonder what other great hockey stuff from my past, might be stored away in my attic.
Hockey Musical - Why???
I guess the world really is trying to drive me insane. Here is their description of said monstrosity:
"Seventeen-year old Farley (Noah Reid) has the stick-handling skills of the next Sidney Crosby. Not that Farley has any idea who Crosby is. He’s led a sheltered life, home schooled by parents (Olivia Newton-John and Marc Jordan) whose idea of homework is trips to an art gallery or ashram. His best friend is Eve (Allie MacDonald), the girl who’s lived next door since they were both three. Much to the dismay of his parents, Farley loves to play shinny with the local rink rats (Dave Bidini, Hawksley Workman et al.). To their even greater dismay, Farley is signed to a major hockey league, where he achieves instant stardom, throwing him into a world of hype. Farley soon finds that hockey fame comes with a price, including the expectation to fight. Throw in a changing relationship with Eve – and Farley is losing his way."
Never in a million years.

Personalized Hockey Pucks For Any Occasion
Personalized hockey pucks make unique and thoughtful gifts for a variety of different occasions. Whether they're used as parting gifts in wedding receptions and bar mitzvahs, or placed in "goody bags" for a child's birthday party, personalized pucks make special events a bit more memorable. Nowadays, many couples-to-be are steering away from traditional wedding favors (wine glasses, chocolates, etc), and are resorting to more fun, unpredictable gifts to give their guests. Why not a personalized hockey puck with the hockey-fanatic-couple's image and wedding date printed on it? Sure, not everyone plays hockey, but it's a lasting memory of the wedding that family and friends can display in their homes for years. Birthdays are another special occasion that can be remembered with personalized pucks. What better way to celebrate a hockey-loving-child's birthday, than with a personalized puck given to all his friends on the hockey team? Chances are, they'll get a lot of use out of their pucks - so they're well worth the price. It's also common for coaches to give their players personalized hockey pucks at the end of the season - or if they make it to the play-offs or finals. These personalized pucks create a lasting memory of a great season... for the players, as well as the coach.
