Logo Hockey Pucks

If you're an owner of a company, or perhaps part of the marketing team, chances are, you're constantly looking for new ways to get the word out about the business. You've tried putting your logo on pens, note pads, Frisbees, and everything else under the sun, but have you tried custom logo hockey pucks?

Custom logo pucks are becoming an increasingly popular way for businesses to advertise. Why? Well, for one, the surface of a puck is flat, making the logo easy to read, unlike logos on pens or pencils which are often small and distorted-looking. Secondly, logo hockey pucks are keepsake items that will last a long time - making them the perfect gift for employees and clients.

Most importantly though, logo pucks are advertising tools that people can actually interact with. Most business owners want to associate their products with "fun" and "enjoyment." This is why major corporations and small business owners alike, are choosing the hockey puck logo way of advertising. When people play with the puck in their hockey game, and they're game ended up being a great time, chances are they are going to associate their enjoyment with the company on the custom logo puck. Which means, you guessed it, more business for that company.

Because it's fairly common for public service organizations (military, police, fire department, etc) to have their own hockey leagues, they too are jumping on the logo hockey pucks bandwagon. When every member of the league has their organization's custom logo puck, it creates a great sense of spirit toward the specific group they belong to, as well as a lasting feeling of kinship for their fellow officers.

All in all, hockey puck logos for companies and organizations are a fantastic way to drum up more business, or simply to create lasting memories.

Hockey Stick Display Cases: Stick With Wood

Hockey stick display cases not only make your hockey sticks look stunning, they also help protect them from sunlight and humidity. A big part of maintaining your sticks' appearance and overall protection is the type of material that the case is made with. Good hockey stick display cases have frames that are composed of wood, and have finishes like mahogany, or unfinished wood. Mahogany is one of the most elegant of these finishes, and is especially suitable if you have mahogany furniture. Sometimes a hockey stick display case is finished with a neutral color, like black. This is another elegant finish that compliments a lot of decors. There are also natural wood finishes that look great in the home or at sports bars. It's not a good idea to purchase a hockey stick display case made from faux wood or other chintzy materials, because it probably won't look very nice in your home, and you won't be doing your stick any justice - they basically just fall apart. You consider your stick a collector's item, why not display it with the best material? A wood hockey stick display case is really the only way to go. They are durable, look natural, and provide great protection for your hockey sticks - and the various available finishes compliment most decors.

Ordering A Custom Hockey Puck

I thought I would finally launch my hockey blog. And right after the Stanley Cup too! I guess that is what procrastination gets me. Well, I hope you like it and can find some use/entertainment from these articles. I thought I would start off with a review of some custom pucks I ordered for my son's birthday...

I recently decided to order some custom hockey pucks for my son's birthday party. He loves/plays hockey, so I thought it would be a great idea to have birthday themed hockey pucks for all the kids on his hockey team that would be at the party. With the date only a few weeks away, I wondered if I could even order something like that in such a short time span.

After a brief search online, I decided on Monsterpuck - a company that specializes in custom made hockey pucks. They had really nice looking custom pucks, and boasted short lead times as well - just what I needed. So I called to see if I could get some custom pucks made in time for the birthday party-they said yes! And they were extremely helpful in getting me through their really easy process. I just emailed them my artwork - their hockey team's logo with "Happy Birthday!" written above it. Two days later they sent me back a proof of how the final design would look. It looked great. So I went ahead and ordered the pucks. I got the custom pucks like a week and a half later, and they were an absolute hit at the party. They are printed on real hockey pucks too, so its funny to see an occasional birthday puck show up amongst the regular ones at practice. But not my son's! He has his displayed in his room. I think the whole thing turned out really well.

Personalized Hockey Pucks For Any Occasion

Personalized hockey pucks make unique and thoughtful gifts for a variety of different occasions. Whether they're used as parting gifts in wedding receptions and bar mitzvahs, or placed in "goody bags" for a child's birthday party, personalized pucks make special events a bit more memorable. Nowadays, many couples-to-be are steering away from traditional wedding favors (wine glasses, chocolates, etc), and are resorting to more fun, unpredictable gifts to give their guests. Why not a personalized hockey puck with the hockey-fanatic-couple's image and wedding date printed on it? Sure, not everyone plays hockey, but it's a lasting memory of the wedding that family and friends can display in their homes for years. Birthdays are another special occasion that can be remembered with personalized pucks. What better way to celebrate a hockey-loving-child's birthday, than with a personalized puck given to all his friends on the hockey team? Chances are, they'll get a lot of use out of their pucks - so they're well worth the price. It's also common for coaches to give their players personalized hockey pucks at the end of the season - or if they make it to the play-offs or finals. These personalized pucks create a lasting memory of a great season... for the players, as well as the coach.
